Permalink The photograph below shows Julio Castillo, who was impaled on a steel spike fence when he ran and slipped while playing baseball. The spike pierced his throat, breaking his jaw and exiting out of his mouth. The whole fence had to be taken off with the boy still attached and the spike was eventually removed by the ER staff.
